Come out for a fun morning of excitement and animals. Kids will get to meet a variety of animals both soft and slimy! There will be plenty of opportunities to pet the animals as well.

Children and their adult companions, join us a day early to celebrate all things woodchuck and make predictions for spring! Discover fun facts about these amazing rodents, learn the lore behind their weather predicting abilities and make a craft to take home. You‘re welcome to come anytime, but if you would like to meet up with other SECPTA families, we will be gathering at 12PM when the event begins.

Drop off your Huntrix and your Saja boys at Storybook Yoga for an interactive story-based yoga class that‘s been designed just for our SECPTA kids to dance, yoga, craft, and play to all things KPop Demon Hunters! Each class incorporates common yoga poses and movement into a fun story, fostering creative thinking, and a love for reading. The session includes crafts, which coordinate with the theme. Yoga mats are provided. Please dress comfortably and bring water! For this drop-off class, three year-olds must be fully potty-trained and able to separate from their parent. Older children are welcome at this mixed-age and -experience level class. After yoga and crafting, kids will enjoy free-play with all Ms. Julie‘s awesome toys and/or free crafting time! Please note, this is a 2-hour drop off event, so get some grocery shopping done, go pick up dinner, or treat yourself to a coffee while your kids have fun!

Come join us for open play at The Treehouse in Bedford. Open play sessions at The Treehouse are designed for caregivers and young children ages 0 through 5 to explore our space with hands-on play activities. Parents must stay with their children.

SECPTA will provide noodles and dumplings as well as red envelopes (hongbao) for the kids filled with chocolate coins. Bring a few favorite family games to play and a dish to share (it does not have to be LNY-themed) and help us to all usher in the Year of the Horse!

Join SECPTA for dinner at Chuck E Cheese! Each child will receive a 2 hour all you can play card, 2 slices of pizza, a beverage, and a grab bag for each child. Test your skills at the games while having fun with friends! **This is a pre-paid event. No refunds will be given for cancellations unless another member on waitlist is able to purchase the ticket.**

Join SECPTA at The Elite Gymnastics Academy for an hour of gymnastics games, obstacle courses, and loosely structured instruction on the gymnastics equipment. Coaches will tailor the activities to each child’s age, so the kids will be grouped accordingly. Ages: 18 months - 8 years.

Drop by to make nature-themed valentines to take home! After crafting, enjoy sipping hot cocoa in front of the crackling fireplace and learn how some of our animal neighbors show their affection for one another. You‘re welcome to come anytime, but if you would like to meet up with other SECPTA families, we will be gathering at 12PM when the event begins.

Join us for a yoga story, craft, and free play! Please send a water bottle and a small snack with your child. This is a drop off program that you are welcome to leave and come back for. Geared for children who are potty trained, 3+ years old.

Head over to the Bainbridge library after school for a Pokemon trading, battling, crafting, and snacking event. Bring cards to trade, decks to battle with, and figures to play with as well. SECPTA will provide snacks as well as coloring pages and a Pokemon craft.

Join us for a free community storytime with rhymes, songs, fingerplays, and books. After storytime, stay to play with library toys and engage with other families.

Going to be completely honest- I don‘t know anything about pickleball or what all the hype is about. Let‘s find out together!

Grab your best gal or guy (just don‘t grab their pickleball) for our private (adults only) group lesson at Ace Pickleball Club in Solon. (You do not need a partner to attend!)

Join SECPTA at Kids Empire, a new indoor play place that offers lots of fun for your little ones (and big siblings too)! Socks are required for everyone. 2 adults get in free per 1 child. You can stay until close, but please arrive sometime between 4PM and 5:30 so the field trip host can check you in!

Grab some food between 11:00 am - 11:00 PM and BJ‘s Brewhouse will donate 20% of food and soft drink sales to SECPTA!

Many schools are off for President‘s Day so send your big kids to a mini art camp to create their very own picture book! Students will look at picture books for inspiration, then design and illustrate an original book of their own. The book can tell a story, feature a character, or include poems. Using colored pencils, markers, and tempera paint, students will bring their ideas to life through pictures, words, or both. This class is all about imagination and creative expression! VAC is requesting that one parent volunteer to stay and assist during the workshop. Please contact Kate at fieldtrips@secpta.net if you are willing to help out! Ages: 6-11 years.

It‘s Lunar New Year and the big kids are off school! Join us for a three hour program at the Farm Park during which we will learn how farmers grow pizza! We will engage in a farm-wide hunt to investigate pizza making from field to table and uncover the sources of ingredients in this delicious food. This program includes pizza making and sampling. Pack a lunch and stick around to enjoy the indoor playground! This event is not included in Farm Park memberships, so you would need to register through SECPTA even if you are a member. Ages: 3-10 years.

Children will turn an egg carton into a colorful caterpillar using tempera paint, then create a bright background for it to explore. We’ll glue simple shapes to make flowers, a tree, and a butterfly. This hands-on class is perfect for young artists who love to paint, glue, and imagine!

It‘s trivia night at Saucy Brew Works (Pinecrest)! Let‘s get enough people to put together a team or two and see how we measure up.

Join us for a Lunar New Year themed story time at the Twinsburg Library. After the story, join us for a year of the horse craft, free play, and snacks. *This event is limited to 30 people excluding babies in carriers.*

We will be meeting at Abby‘s home (email Kate.Breuer@secpta.net for address) and we will be reading The Plot Against America by Philip Roth. As always, feel free to come socialize even if you don’t read the book!

Once a month, join other board game nerds for some uninterrupted game time. Escape room board games, Settlers of Catan, 7 wonders, Ticket to Ride, the possibilities are endless. Come and learn a new game or teach us your favorite! Light refreshments will be provided. *We all deserve to be able to focus on the fun of the game, so at this time, this will be an adult only club.

Come play at Pioneer Preschool Indoor Gym on a cold February morning and get some wiggles and energy out! Ride around the gym on their tricycles or Little Tikes cars. Cook up a nice meal in their pretend kitchen, play hide and seek in their pretend house and castle, or climb around on their toddler friendly play structure.

Burn off some Monday energy at D&R Playland in Brooklyn. There is an indoor playground to climb and slide, an interactive ball pit, soccer field, ride-ons, and a special soft play area for toddlers.

Join us for a evening of community service! We will have multiple service projects to help with and some general information on each project and organization that it helps. This is a great opportunity to introduce children to service learning!

All general meetings include complimentary childcare as well as pizza and snacks. This year’s childcare will be provided by the Solon Community Center child care team.

Join SECPTA friends at the Twinsburg Indoor Swimming Pool for a water themed story and open swim time with games and toys. This is geared towards 2-6 year olds but older kids are welcome to attend as well. A parent must be IN the water with their child(ren). While this event is open to the public, SECPTA has reserved spots and is able to subsidize the fee for some of our members. Ages: 2+ years.

Join SECPTA and Twinsburg library for story time from 10:30 - 11:00am followed by fun activities until 11:30am at Heritage Hall in Reminderville. Tea and coffee are available for caregivers to enjoy. All ages welcome.

Join us for dancing, characters, food, and a good time!

Tap into some sweet family fun at the Farm Park as you discover the history and science behind the production of pure maple syrup while witnessing each step in the process firsthand. Take a wagon ride to the Woodland Center to see how sap is collected, boiled and processed using both traditional and modern methods. Venture out to the woods to explore the sugarbush, where you can collect sap from maple trees and pour it into a horse-drawn sled. Discover how to make maple syrup at home and see the fascinating process of collecting sap through a vacuum tubing system. Go from tap to table by sampling freshly produced maple syrup, candy and maple stirs (additional fee) and enjoying a pancake breakfast in the cafe (additional fee) or a pony ride (additional fee). Farmpark’s own pure maple syrup and maple candy will also be available for sale. No refunds will be given for no-shows, but you will be able to come at anytime while the Farm Park is open that day 9AM-4PM by giving your name at the admission desk.
