Our co-op is a community of homeschooling families who come together to enrich our children's education through shared experiences, engaging classes, and meaningful friendships. By working together, parents create a supportive environment where both children and families can learn, grow, and thrive.

This is a parent-participation program, not a drop-off program. A parent or designated caregiver must remain on-site and actively participate throughout the co-op day.

A current SECPTA membership is required to participate in either or both of the co-op programs below.

Two Options:

Option #1 - SECPTA Homeschool Enrichment Co-op. 

Love the idea of meeting weekly with other homeschooling families during the school year? Join the SECPTA Homeschool Enrichment Co-op, led by parents. 

Our Enrichment Co-op meets on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 12:30 PM in Solon. We offer five 5-week sessions throughout the school year.

Families are invited to stay after classes for an optional bring-your-own lunch and open play until 2 p.m., providing additional opportunities for socialization and community.

• There is a session fee to participate in the Enrichment Co-op, which helps cover the cost of facility rental, insurance, and classroom materials.
• This is a parent-participation program, not a drop-off program. A parent or designated caregiver must remain on-site throughout the co-op day. Because our classes are primarily parent-led, each family is expected to actively participate in helping our co-op thrive.

Enrichment Co-op members also have access to our field trips, special events, and other community activities offered during our active co-op months.

Option #2 - SECPTA Homeschool Co-op Activities.

Does a once-a-month commitment, interest-based clubs, or field trip adventures sound more like your style? Join our Homeschool Activities Group, where families come together for monthly clubs, playgroups, field trips, outings, and special events.

This parent-led program is made possible by families who volunteer to host or organize activities throughout the year. Participation is flexible, allowing you to get involved in the ways that best fit your interests and schedule. 

Some field trips, special events, classes, and activities may have additional fees.

Our homeschool co-op thrives because of the families who make it possible.
