Welcome to SECPTA!

The Solon Early Childhood PTA (SECPTA) is a non-profit organization serving families with children from birth to kindergarten. Families from Solon and the surrounding area are welcome to join. We offer field trips, playdates, T-Ball, Soccer and various other outings and activities for you and your children. Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday every month at 6:30pm at the Solon Community Center. This is where you can sign up for activities. Each month a speaker is brought in to share valuable information on issues relevant to families with kids. No reservations required and babysitting is available. Children's Museum of Cleveland

Shake off the winter doldrums and pretend you are at the beach with their new Egyptian Sands exhibit and Splish! Splash! exhibit, at the children’s museum! The new seasonal exhibit allows children and their families will travel back in time to explore ancient Egyptian family life by writing their name in hieroglyphics in the Scribe House, preparing a meal in the Courtyard of an Adobe Home, fishing on the Nile or by building and exploring a Pyramid. We will also explore the 16 foot water table, with dams, locks and a water wheel. There are other awesome permanent exhibits, come check out the fun! Disney Junior Live Pirate and Princess Adventure

3/1/15 (Sunday) Disney Junior Live, Pirates & Princess Adventure
Mickey and Minnie lead the audience on an exciting adventure that will have families rooting for their favorite pirate, Jake, and Disney's first little girl princess, Sofia. Disney Junior Live On Tour! Pirate & Princess Adventure begins with a special interactive pre-show featuring the loveable six-year-old doctor to toys and stuffed animals, Doc McStuffins. Families will sing the “I Feel Better” song, along with Doc as she provides tender love and care.
